So, little secret about me: I love shopping at Goodwill. Though it’s not very glamorous sifting through piles and racks of seemingly dirty clothes, I manage to find quite a bit of gems. Thrift shopping is always either a hit or miss, but when it’s a hit, it’s like you’ve struck gold. I found a couple of really awesome little square scarves for a few dollars in a big bin that I just had to have (of course I washed them!) and I’ve come up with what I think will be a new signature thing for me. The reveal….
Scarves as bracelets. I love the chunky yet elegant look of the scarf wrapped and tied with my watch. The scarf is made of acetate according to the tag but I am dying to know where it came from as that information is missing! Look at how beautiful this scarf is… If anyone knows where this came from please let me know!
Anyways, here’s a new take on the “silk” scarf trend for you to try. Help save the environment and recycle some clothes by shopping at your nearest thrift store and see what you might find!
